No, workflow application is optional in SME package and sold seperately. It does not belong to a 3rd party vendor and does not require integration work.
Which operating systems does it support ?
Server systems are currently Linux, Solaris, Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and 2003. -For client application, Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher versions would be sufficient.
Which programs should be installed at the client side for Doxoft to function ?
Microsoft Windows operating system and Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher versions woulsd be sufficient. No need to install any other programs.
There are regional or remote offices in our corporation. Can they store their own documents ?
Yes, you can improve the performance by using local document vaults for such offices.
Which fax server systems are integrated with the system ?
Currently, the integration is available with GFI Faxmaker and LightningFax. It is possible to integrate the other systems as well.
How scalable is the infrastructure ?
There are no limitations for the number of users.
I currently have a document manamegent system. Can I use Doxoft ?
You can buy and use Doxoft additionaly. Alternatively, there are attractive migration campaigns.
I would like to test such a system before purchasing, what can I do ?
You can lease it under very convenient conditions. Please contact your customer representative.
What is the number of documents that can be stored ?
The number of documents to be stored in Doxoft is limited by the size of magnetic media under system's usage.E.g., if you reserve 100 GB area for Doxoft, the total size of archived documents cannot exceed 100 GB.
What's the number of concurrent users in the system ?
There is not such an upper limit. The copies of same workflow or any number of multiple workflows can be executed in a parallel or serial mode. By scaling database and applications servers, you can run thousands of workflows concurrently.
What is the required amount of investment for Doxoft ?
The initial costs are quite convenient. The user based licensing provides more comfortable budgeting for inital costs and any possible future additions.
I added all my documents to Doxoft. Should I be in the office in order to use them ?
Due to its Web based interface, Doxoft enables you to work from anywhere you like - in the office or outside the office. You can access your documents with a GPRS-enabled PDA at the beach during a vacation, through internet cafe in another country or with a notebook in a trip; and you can even design workflows.
How will I extend the usage of Doxoft throughout the corporation ?
Doxoft is a document and workflow management system. Since it would be one of the pillars of the corporation, almost every user will use the application or (s)he will be directly or indirectly affected by it. In order not to cause any malfunctionings or breaks, you should plan and implement all the projects by phasing them. This will come up with success stories in the corporation and provide you to complete the migrations which you won't be able to perform in a single step.
